My mom and I have been baking together since I was little. It is one of my greatest pleasures and favorite past times! It a passion that I get to share with my own niece and nephew -- we have been baking together since they could climb up on a chair to help measure, sprinkle and stir! 

 

I made my very first custom cake for my sister's wedding in 2008 and have been designing cakes for family and friends ever since. I especially love making cakes for my niece and nephew's birthdays! Every year is different and so special.

And, cookie kits are a great way to do it! For years, we had cookie decorating parties with friends. I would bring the cookies, icing and loads of sprinkles! The kids would have an absolute blast designing their very own cookie creations. When we couldn't be together in 2020, I started putting together cookie kits so we could still enjoy this fun tradition -- even if we could't be together in person. It's become a fun holiday tradition!
